About

I enjoy moving between concrete problems and the abstractions that connect them.

What interests me most isn't just finding an answer, but understanding the structure underneath it: what assumptions it depends on, what information it preserves, and whether the conclusions are actually justified by the evidence.

That curiosity has taken me from mathematics to software development, and more recently into data, machine learning, simulation, and AI systems.

The path

I studied mathematics at Boğaziçi University — a B.Sc. followed by graduate coursework — and worked as a teaching assistant, leading problem-solving sessions across seven undergraduate courses. Over the following years I worked as a developer in the gaming industry, building and shipping 20+ production games and interactive experiences while learning how to turn ideas into working systems under real-world constraints.

Now

Today I'm exploring Data, ML, and AI through a growing portfolio of projects, reports, and experiments. My work often starts with a specific question and gradually expands into something broader: understanding decision systems, investigating model behavior, examining uncertainty, or looking for the underlying patterns that connect seemingly different problems.

I enjoy building models, simulations, and analytical tools, then digging into the results to understand not only what happened, but why. Along the way I document the process publicly, including the mistakes, dead ends, and lessons learned.

Current areas of focus

I'm building this journey in public — through projects and technical reports here, and posts onLinkedIn.
